CAPTURE DATA​

Scan to obtain data of the maxilla, mandible, and occlusal relationship.

1.
Scan the maxilla, mandible and bite of the case with an intraoral scanner/desktop scanner for a 3D digital model. *Make sure the scan is integrit and the bite is accurate.​

•
Open bite — We suggest increasing it by at least 1.5 mm. ​

•
Closed bite — Please scan the case in a natural closed position. ​

Export the scans as an STL format with the maxilla and mandible in occlusion. (Default export format for most scanners, saving the step to create a separate bite scan file.)​

DIGITAL DESIGN​

We recommend you to use 3Shape or EXO CAD for digital design, and the following are recommended parameters: ​
